When executed, design reverberates in both space and time.
Within architecture and design lies a social responsibility. Spaces and buildings dictate the way people will experience and interact within the environment, including how and where day-to-day tasks take place.

This responsibility can’t be taken lightly because architects and designers greatly influence people’s quality of life, as well as their visual and spatial experiences. In today’s global context, another dimension must be added to this social responsibility: sustainability. When proposing design, architects and designers should be accountable for an appropriate selection of products, materials and systems in order to ensure the most appropriate allocation of natural resources.
