Back in 1992, the Union of Concerned Scientists, on behalf of 1,600 scientists (including the majority of living Nobel laureates) issued the World Scientists’ Warning to Humanity. It outlined the case for environmental stewardship as essential to survival.
At Iconic Architecture and Design, stewardship of the environment is a defining principle in the creation of sustainable architecture and interior design. Based on the belief that “less is better,” our designs deliver more efficient, healthier and cost-effective environments. To achieve this goal, lifecycle and long-term benefits are weighed against initial costs and environmental impact.
From the selection of sustainable materials, systems and processes to LEED certification of buildings, we create projects with the environment in mind. It is just the right thing to do.
