ICONIC + ART is an alliance of two architectural offices – Iconic Architectural and Design and Architectural Resources Team – located in Arizona, USA, whose goal is to capitalize on human resources, experience and “know-how” to provide architectural services with American quality, efficiency and safety standards with Brazilian market costs.
Brazil, from a developing country has been considered an emerging nation. Paradoxically, its infrastructure at all levels of civil construction and road system in many cases may be considered obsolete and inadequate. To achieve responsible growth, efficiently and within international standards of safety, sustainability and quality, the country must adapt to the norms created, required and dispensed by developed countries. The role of ICONIC + ART in this context is the catalyst of resources, seeking solid and guaranteed results in the provision of architectural services and design.
Karen Shakman, from Curitiba, architect, registered in the United States and Brazil, is also LEED accredited by United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Additionally, Karen holds a Masters of Science in Design with a concentration in Healthcare and Healing Environments by Arizona State University and is accredited by the researcher “Institutional Review Board” to administer Evidence-Based Design protocols. Karen offers over 18 years of experience in providing architectural services in both Brazilian and American markets.
